Administer a structured health and safety management program that covers the needs of Swisslog. Monitor and evaluate the progress of health and safety performance, including encouraging and facilitating improvement. Promoting line management ownership and responsibilities. Monitoring and reporting compliance through liaison with responsible departmental management and General Managers.
•Organize the companies safety program for office, workshop and project sites and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
•Maintain and update project specific site health and safety plan in line with current legislations.
•Advise and support multiple project site management teams in safety related issues.
•Perform risk analysis of active project systems, producing Hazard Analysis documents. Follow up during implementation ensuring adherence.
•Perform on site inspection / audits to safeguard the adherence of safety control policies. Providing reports of violations and improvements to project and line management
•Participate in proposal system design reviews, and advising of safety requirements.
•Facilitate and manage site reportable incidents.
•Planning and providing health and safety OSHA 10 and 30 training to project personnel.
•The sourcing of professional Safety representatives for on site safety management coverage where required.
•Review of sub-supplier method statements and JHA’s to ensure that they adequate and appropriate for work being performed.
•Produce and maintain records and reporting of health and safety performance to management.
•Perform specific on site safety management support where necessary.
•OSHA 30 certification for General Industry and Construction
•Site Management/Engineering background.
•Understanding of current legislation.
•Good understanding of OSHA standards.
